Exactly what I expected!

Perfect lamp for my che bulb. I like the dimmer so I can conform the temp if needed. Came in good status l and works great!

Perfect for adjustable basking spot

I have at present purchased two of these. The dimmable function allows me to put a higher wattage basking lamp/floodlight in and I don't accept to change the bulb as the conditions changes. During the warmer months I dial the bulb down and when information technology gets colder I can dial it upward. Much easier than keeping another seedling effectually to switch out.

Blew immediately!

I simply received this today and I placed my Fluker's Ceramic Heat Emitter 100W seedling inside, turned it on, and it blew!! It even flipped my breaker! My dad tested to see if it had whatever electricity going through it and it did, merely I plugged it back in with my bulb, turned it on all the fashion, and my bulb never warmed upwards. I place my seedling back in my old dome to come across if my seedling was working and it warmed up immediately. I promise I can get a refund on this so I tin buy something that will actually piece of work.

If your bulbs continue breaking, might exist time to buy a new lamp! Become this one!!

This fixture is dandy, I was having bug with a previous lamp where my bulbs kept breaking. After buying new bulbs, I figured it was possibly the lamp fixture that had the trouble. Turns out I was right, this lamp has been running with no bug!! I take mine sitting on top of a screen hat and its nice I accept an optional clench if I ever want to change my set up

Great for bulbs OK for ceramic

I got this lamp to dim a ceramic oestrus bulb. It works ok for that, it still seems kinda all or null for the ceramic heat seedling, but there is a slight bit of control to it which I appreciate because those ceramic heat bulbs get wicked hot when all the way on. I was hoping the dimmer would control the ceramic a picayune ameliorate than information technology does, but it does practise a little something. This housing works crawly for typical heat bulbs/regular bulbs. The dimmer is great for that. Would definitely recommend.

Lamps were crushed and bent, everything in the box was packed very tightly with no padding.

Works Well!

This dome with dimmer is a great cost and works well! I've had information technology over a year and it'due south still running strong. First it on the lowest dim setting and monitor your temps with a reliable source (I use an acurite to monitor temps and humidity). If your room/firm temps fluctuate a lot, you'll accept to monitor and adjust the dimmer, so a thermostat with a regular dome may be a better selection. If your temps are usually consequent, this works great!

I love how information technology dims your reptiles calorie-free!

I did not know this i had a light dimmer. It's perfect when controller my turtles light. I tin se it all the way bright and dim the light equally the day goes past! This is a definite plus! I only gave it a four star because it's a clamping calorie-free rather than one you tin hook to your tank roof. But i still recommend it!
